Position Overview

The Department of Environmental Science and Policy at Plymouth State University is seeking qualified applications for part-time, non-benefitted, teaching lecturer faculty positions for the 2019 Fall term (Aug 26 – Dec 13, 2019) in support of our B.S. degree in Environmental Science and Policy. We seek one or more qualified candidates to teach up to three upper-level undergraduate geoscience courses:

  • ESP 3330 Environmental Geology – 4 credits with labs and field trips
  • ESP 3310 Hydrology – 4 credits with labs and field trips
  • ESP 3300 Soils and Environmental Change – 4 credits with labs and field trips (option to teach as a blended undergraduate and graduate course)

Qualifications

Required Qualifications:

  • Master’s Degree in Geology, Physical Geography or related discipline.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • PhD Degree.
  • University level teaching experience.
