~ At Franklin Energy, we provide our utility clients with a wide range of energy-saving and renewable energy solutions. ~

From individual utility customers and construction contractors, to utilities, municipalities, and government bodies, our clients have come to depend on our customized energy efficiency programs to help them to meet their energy saving goals.

Position Overview

This position (Project Manager) is responsible for helping meet the business needs of the company by providing technical and administrative support, client management, coordination, project scheduling and tracking, training, quality assurance/testing, and technical guidance for the Customer Engagement Solution products.

The role shall be responsible for managing our business clients and support our client offering improvement initiatives for Customer Engagement Solutions. This role works within a team environment and is expected to operate independently and in collaboration with other teams throughout the company.

Responsibilities

This list of duties and responsibilities is not all-inclusive and may be expanded to include other duties and responsibilities, as management may deem necessary from time to time.

  • Client Management and ownership of the technology success of our operations software program implementations, including: Managing the requirements gathering and implementation process for new clients; and Management of client operations for Franklin Energy’s customer engagement platform customer base
  • Responsible for key aspects of client management, program scheduling and tracking, client communicates, assisting in QA, and managing reporting Tracking project status and schedules
  • Analyzing project analytic and writing reports for clients
  • Customer Engagement Training for different roles associated with our platform (Programs, CSRs, Contractors, etc.)
  • Overseeing support personnel involved in respective account client implementations and operations
  • Managing and assisting quality assurance activities for your accounts

Other functions may include:

  • Work directly with both our clients, set appropriate expectations and own the success of the project implementations
  • Identify and implement process improvement activities/projects, working with our clients, and product teams using best practices and creative thinking
  • Performs other duties as assigned by the immediate supervisor

Qualifications

Education and Experience:

  • Bachelor Degree from an accredited college or university
  • 3+ years of related experience
  • Previous exposure to Project Management methodologies and associated tools
  • Strong Data Analytics skills
  • Previous customer service/account management experience preferred
  • Experience with energy efficiency program implementation preferred
  • Proficiency in applicable process documentation tools (Visio, or equivalent) preferred
  • Advanced proficiency in implementing SaaS solutions preferred
  • Familiarity with clean-tech is a plus

Required Skills, Knowledge and Abilities:

  • Ability to demonstrate and communicate the functionality of our Customer Engagement Platform and assist Business Development in the sale of Franklin Energy as the Customer Engagement Platform implementer of choice
  • Must be a detail-oriented, organized, self-starter, and have an ability to prioritize workload
  • Ability to identify and resolve any issues with customers and trade allies
  • Strong customer service and communication skills
  • Must be able to handle a wide work variety and work in a fast-paced environment
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office, specifically Word, Excel and Outlook
  • Strong data entry skills in entering information in tracking systems/databases
  • Ability to communicate effectively, both verbally and in writing with customers, clients and employees
  • Ability to analyze and interpret data and solve practical problems
  • Proven leadership and initiative
  • Solid analytical thinking
  • The ability to work independently; collect data, analyze information, produce reports
  • A desire to improve our software and service offering
  • Effective ability to work directly with clients

Licenses & Certifications:

  • Valid driver’s license
  • PMP preferred

Travel Requirements:

  • Willingness to travel up to 50% of the time

Physical Demands and Work Environment:

  • Required to sit, stand, walk; talk and hear; and ability to touch and handle tools and/or controls
  • Ability to lift up to 10 pounds
  • Noise Level is typically moderate
  • Employee could be exposed to fumes and/or airborne particles and risk of potential shock
