Position Overview

Terracon’s Wichita, Kansas office is seeking a Regulatory Compliance Senior Project Manager to join our Team! In this role you will provide senior leadership and guidance to generate regulatory compliance opportunities in various industrial/manufacturing, utilities, and governmental sectors within the region, primarily Kansas; provide leadership in regulatory compliance marketing efforts; maintain existing and develop new client relationships; prepare proposals, cost estimates and reports; review deliverables for quality in accordance with company standards and policies; and, train, mentor and direct team members.

Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you will need extensive working and regulatory knowledge in most of the following client-provided services on the federal and state level:

  • Air permitting and compliance
  • EPCRA, SARA Title III and TRI reporting
  • Stormwater and SPCC
  • Hazardous waste management
  • Industrial wastewater
  • Statutes including CAA, CWA, RCRA, among others

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in technical discipline practices by the Firm including Engineering, Environmental Science or Geology and a minimum of 10 years’ related experience
  • Or, in lieu of a degree, a minimum of 14 years’ related experience
  • Valid driver’s license with acceptable violation history

Preferred Certification:

  • Project Management Professional (PMP)
  • Professional Engineer (PE), Professional Geologist (PG) or similar professional registration/certification relevant to the type of services and projects being managed
  • Authorized Project Reviewer status
