Position Overview

Bay4 Energy Services, a national leader in the management and servicing of commercial solar power plants, is seeking self-starter with great analytical and organizational skills. The Energy Monitoring Specialist will also have a proactive mindset, striving to find ways to improve site performance through data gathering and analytics.

Responsibilities

  • The Energy Monitoring Specialist maximizes uptime and the energy yield of Bay4 Technology Services’ fleet of solar power plants.
  • This is accomplished by analyzing the data acquired by the monitoring systems to identify anomalies, diagnose issues, and indicate root causes that enable quick field response to resolve outages or address low performance.
  • The Specialist researches under-performance and outages. Works closely with the Technical Portfolio Managers to keep sites running and to review & report historical operational status to internal & external stakeholders.

Qualifications

  • BS in Mathematics, Engineering, Physics, or Education with an emphasis on mathematics or science.
  • Advanced Microsoft Excel skills/experience.
  • Data analysis skills/experience with emphasis on pattern recognition, organization and evaluation.

Compensation

  •  $15.00 to $20.00 /hour
