Overall, the final EERE budget increased by about 1.4 percent. The renewable energy budget increased 9.3 percent above the adjusted FY 2002 budget, to $422.3 million. The energy efficiency budget decreased by 2 percent relative to the adjusted FY 2002 budget, to $897.6 million.
