Geothermal, biomass, wind, and solar energy producers met in Washington, D.C. last month to discuss forming a new alliance. With more common interest in issues like federal tax credits, the groups discussed how to work more effectively together. The major companies and trade organizations represented have agreed to form a "Renewable Energy Business Alliance" to act as the voice for the renewable power businesses in Washington. GEA, AWEA, SEIA, and USA Biomass Power Producers Alliance are among the trade groups expressing interest in joining the new alliance.
