Azure Dynamics Corp. (AZD.TO) announced it has signed an agreement with Ford Motor Co. to build hybrid electric powertrains for the automaker’s E-Series commercial platform. Azure, based in Vancouver, British Columbia, will build powertrains to convert Ford’s E-350 and E-450 commercial chassis for hybrids.

SatCon Technology Corp(Nasdaq GM: SATC) announced on September 1, 2006 that the Nasdaq Listing Qualifications Department notified the Company on August 30, 2006 that it failed to comply with the continued listing requirements of The Nasdaq Global Market because the market value of the Company’s listed securities had fallen below $50,000,000 for 10 consecutive business days. The Company was provided a period of 30 calendar days, or until September 29, 2006, to regain compliance. The market value of SatCon’s common stock is still below the minimum and is thus subject to delisting from Nasdaq.
