Color Kinetics and Element Labs Announce Licensing Agreement

Color Kinetics Incorporated (Nasdaq: CLRK) and Element Labs, Inc. announced a global cross-licensing agreement, fostering on-going product development in the entertainment-focused market for intelligent LED lighting. Element Labs will acquire access to Color Kinetics’ complete patent portfolio, enabling the development and sale of certain LED-based product lines worldwide. Element Labs is a prominent manufacturer of LED systems that merge lighting and video in a wide range of theatrical, touring, television and other entertainment applications. Its systems have been used in many high-profile projects around the world, including three of the last four Super Bowl halftime shows, the 49th Annual Grammy Awards, and the concert tours of Madonna, the Dixie Chicks, Red Hot Chili Peppers, Tom Petty and Coldplay, among many others. Several of Element Labs’ intelligent LED product lines apply Color Kinetics’ proprietary control methods to generate millions of colors and video-based lighting effects. Environmental Power Corp Reports 2006 Financial Results

Environmental Power Corporation (Amex: EPG) announced results for the fourth quarter and year ended December 31, 2006. For Q4 2006, revenues increased 24% to $12.3 million from Q4 05. Subsidiary Buzzard Power Corporation increased revenues of $2.4 million to $11.8 million in 2006 from $9.4 million in 2005. Subsidiary, Microgy, Inc. saw revenues decrease 15% to $448,000, due to a shift in business strategy from selling facilities based on its technology to building, owning, and operating larger RNG facilities. Total costs and operating expenses increased 12% to $18.2 million. The Company reported a net loss of $6.4 million, as compared to a net loss of $6.1 million for the same period in 2005. For 2006, revenues decreased by $1.9 million, or 3%. Costs and expenses remained flat at $67.7 million. The Company had a net loss of $14.1 million, up from $11.4 million in 2005.
