eBay has launched a new website help drivers find and compare green cars.
eBay Green Driving provides a single location for people to find information on electric vehicles, hybrids, clean diesels, compressed natural gas and ethanol vehicles, and high-MPG gasoline vehicles.
And it also cleverly connects that information to cars that are available for sale on eBay.
In easy to read and understand format, it shows side-by-side fuel economy and emissions comparisons of vehicles along with estimated vehicle cost, estimated annual fuel costs, and ecological impact, using information from the Department of Energy’s fueleconomy.gov.
Other green eBay sites are eBay Instant Sale, which trades used electronic gadgets, Patagonia Common Threads Initiative + eBay, to buy and sell used clothes and Green.ebay.com, which sells a variety of green consumer products.
