The winners will be honored at a White House event in April.
The White House Council on Environmental Quality and the White House Office of Public Engagement will recognize American companies, organizations and individuals leading important efforts to advance an innovative clean energy future and an economy that’s built to last.
In April, they will host a Champions of Change event at the White House that honors individuals and organizations across the country that are using innovative strategies to increase the use of renewable energy and develop state-of-the-art implementation
strategies for the future.
A Champion be a scientist working at the forefront of energy-storage technology, a company designing a cutting-edge turbine manufacturing process, or an entrepreneur inventing new ways to empower people and enable energy efficiency via mobile apps.
