Vestas Reserves Chinese Manufacturing to Meet China Demand

Vestas (VWS.CO), the world’s largest wind turbine manufacturer, which has its largest plant in Tianjin, China, says it’s reserving all its manufacturing capacity to supply turbines for China this year.

Vestas, which is headquartered in Denmark, says orders from China reached a record high in 2010, to 1000 MW. China  became the world’s largest wind market in 2009.

In 2010, China announced it would invest 5 trillion yuan ($736 billion) in clean energy over the next decade.
