Pickens Plan Subtracts Wind Power

Texas oill tycoon T. Boone Pickens has received a lot of media attention over the last two years for his plan to free the U.S. from foreign oil imports.

Clean energy advocates hesitatingly embraced his call for enormous wind power investments, while disagreeing with his push for natural gas powered vehicles.

Now that his attempt to build a massive wind farm in Texas fell apart, the Pickens Plan is all about natural gas, in which the business man is already well invested. Though he still hopes to build a wind farm in Canada, according to this MSNBC story.
