President Obama gave an in-depth interview to Rolling Stone magazine during which he said energy policy will be one of his "top priorities" next year.
He acknowledged that the nation has not made much progress on addressing climate change during the last two years, due in large part to economic crisis.
However, he said he intends to put his whole weight behind an energy push next year, stating that he is "committed to making sure that we get an energy policy that makes sense for the country and that helps us grow at the same time as it deals with climate change in a serious way."
