China Wind Systems, Inc. (OTC Bulletin Board: CHWY), a supplier of forged products and industrial equipment to the wind power and other industries in China, announced Monday that it has received approval to list its common stock on The NASDAQ Stock Market.
China Wind Systems said expects to begin trading on The NASDAQ Global Market under the new stock symbol "CWS" on Tuesday, December 29, 2009.
China Wind Systems supplies forged rolled rings to the wind power and other industries and industrial equipment to the textile and energy industries in China. With a newly finished production facility in Wuxi, Jiangsu Province, the company expects to increase shipments soon, according to a release.
According to the company’s website, the new plant will also have the capability to make gearboxes, yaw bearings and shafts for use in large-scale wind turbines.
