A prominent Democratic Party polling firm has advised the party to ditch its cap-and-trade message in favor of language that does not imply limits.
The firm also suggests that promises of green jobs do not hit home with swing voters. Instead, they suggest the best sales pitch for Democrats’ plans is "Get America running on clean energy."
If Democrats embrace the advice offered by Greenberg Quinlan Rosner and the think tank Third Way, we can also expect to see the party embrace expanded production from domestically fossil fuel resources.
