Blue Sun Biodiesel Makes Inc. 500 List

Blue Sun Biodiesel has been ranked 242 in Inc. magazine’s "Inc. 500" list of fastest growing, privately-held companies and is the fastest growing biodiesel fuel company in the country, according to the list. The company was ranked 10th in growth for the energy industry.

Colorado-based Blue Sun Biodiesel markets B20 biodiesel fuel, for which sales grew 1078% over the preceding 3-year period.

Blue Sun President and COO Mike Miller credits Blue Sun’s success to its integrated approach and superior product offering. "As the industry evolved we were positioned to respond. Our involvement with developing new feedstock crops for biodiesel; our unsurpassed distributor support programs; and our fuel, which is superior to not only other biodiesel on the market but also to conventional diesel, have each contributed to our ongoing success.
