Tetra Tech Secures $30M in Wind Work

Tetra Tech, Inc. (NASDAQ: TTEK) announced that its recent acquisition, The Delaney Group, has been awarded three new wind energy projects valued at more than $30 million. 

The project owner/developer is Noble Environmental Power.

Tetra Tech will develop civil infrastructure to support the Noble Altona, Chateaugay, and Bellmont windparks in northern New York. These new projects support clean energy infrastructure development with the potential to provide more than 231 megawatts (MW) of power.

Together, these windfarms will have 154 turbines capable of creating enough energy to power more than 84,000 homes. The work will begin immediately and is expected to be completed by December 2008.
