ADM Delisting From Chicago Exchange

Archer Daniels Midland Company (NYSE: ADM) today announced that it will delist its shares from the Chicago Stock Exchange. The company will continue to list its shares on the New York Stock Exchange, its primary listing exchange.

ADM is withdrawing from the Chicago Stock Exchange because the company does not need a secondary listing on the Chicago Stock Exchange given its ongoing primary listing on the New York Stock Exchange, it said in a statement. The withdrawal is expected to be effective in approximately three weeks.

Archer Daniels Midland Company (ADM) is a leading manufacturer of biodiesel, ethanol, soybean oil and meal, corn sweeteners, flour and other value-added food and feed ingredients. Headquartered in Decatur, Illinois, ADM has over 27,000 employees, more than 240 processing plants and net sales for the fiscal year ended June 30, 2007 of $44 billion.
