Los Angeles-based PermaCity Solar, Inc. has acquired New Millennium Power, Inc. of Mission Viejo, California, according to a company release.
PermaCity Solar, which designs and installs large commercial solar installations, said the acquisition will bring to the company experience with solar systems on commercial parking and industrial/agricultural storage facilities.
New Millennium Power’s president, H.D. Boesch, will now serve as PermaCity’s chief technical officer.
Jonathan Port, president and chief executive officer of PermaCity said, "We think the number of individuals and corporations going solar will increase dramatically during the next 18 months–and I do mean dramatically. Oddly, Southern California, of all places, is an under served market."
