Asola Advanced and Automotive Solar Systems GmbH, the German partner of Quantum Fuel Systems Technologies’ (Nasdaq: QTWW), has signed a $20 million contract to supply silicon photovoltaic solar modules to German-based solar system provider Krannich Solar.
Quantum recently announced the acquisition of a 25% stake in Asola, and also a long-term supply agreement with Ersol Solar Energy AG for the procurement of 155 megawatts (MW) of photovoltaic solar cells, starting in 2008.
Asola will begin deliveries to Krannich Solar in 2008, according to a release.
