Gloria Spire Solar, LLC, a photovoltaic (PV) solar systems integrator, announced that it is opening a new West Coast office to be located in California’s Bay Area.
The company said the new office will serve clients in the Western states, including Arizona, California, Colorado, Hawaii, Nevada, and Oregon. Clients in other areas of the U.S. as well as Canada will continue to be served from the company’s headquarters in Bedford, Mass.
The new office initially will be based in Santa Clara, California, and will eventually be co-located with sister company Adema in Mountain View, California, according to a release.
Gloria Spire Solar said it has hired Pyramyth Liu to head up the new office as West Coast General Manager. Before joining Gloria Spire Solar, Liu was a venture partner with iD Ventures America, a $260 million early stage start-up fund for companies in the semiconductor, enterprise applications, wireless and information technology infrastructure space. Previously, he was CEO of PointRed Technologies, a start-up telecom equipment business.
