Amtech Systems, Inc. (NASDAQ: ASYS), a supplier of production systems for the manufacture of solar cells, semiconductors, and silicon wafers, announced it has received $9.5 million in follow-on solar orders from existing solar cell customers based in China and Taiwan.
Since the beginning of its 2008 fiscal year, October 1, 2007, Amtech said it has received solar orders totaling approximately $42 million, including this most recent order.
