Martek Biosciences Corp (Nasdaq: MATK) announced it has entered into a 15-year license and supply agreement with WhiteWave Foods Company.
WhiteWave is planning to develop certain soy beverages containing Martek’s DHA omega-3 product. There are no minimum purchase requirements or other financial commitments to Martek.
WhiteWave intends for the initial launch of Martek’s product during 2007. For all products containing the DHA, WhiteWave will display the on product packaging, and in related marketing, advertising and promotional materials. WhiteWave is a leader in soy products, including Silk Soy Milk.
