SunOpta Expects Revenue Growth for 2006

SunOpta Inc. (STKL) on Tuesday said that it expects its 2006 revenue to increase by as much as 32.5 percent over its estimated revenue for 2005, due to strong internal growth.

The company said it believes it will make between $540 million and $550 million, up approximately 30.0% to 32.5% over revenue guidance of $415 million for 2005.

Jeremy Kendall, Chairman and CEO commented, “The company expects to exceed its revenue guidance for 2005 and will review its 2006 revenue guidance by midyear to include any new acquisitions or significant internal developments.”
