SOLON Receives Euro 32 Million Spanish Order

SOLON AG, a German solar manufacturer, has received a EUR 32 million order from Ecotcnia, S.Coop in Spain for its solar tracking system, SOLON Mover.

Deliveries begin in January and will be made throughout 2006. This is the second major contract to supply SOLON Movers to the Spanish market.

The SOLON Mover is a turnkey photovoltaic system consisting of solar modules that track the sun’s movement. It has many advantages over conventional fixed solar panels.

Ecotcnia was founded in 1981 and is part of the Mondragn Group. It is one of the largest renewable energy suppliers in Spain.
