Prater-Sterling’s Systems Division and environmental solution leader EarthFirst Technologies, Incorporated (OTCBB:EFTI – News) today jointly announced that the Companies have partnered to develop specialized equipment that will allow carpet waste to be processed more efficiently.
By utilizing EarthFirst’s solid waste remediation technology and Prater’s extensive experience in the size reduction field, this corporate agreement will focus its energies on the reduction of carpet waste and carpet scrap materials. Once the carpet material is broken down using Prater-Sterling’s size reduction equipment, the waste will be further processed by a proprietary process developed by EarthFirst to produce renewable resources in the form of clean fuel and quality reusable ingredients.
The application of the technology will be located in EarthFirst facilities to serve the industry as economical means for the disposal and reclamation of waste carpet materials.
