STMicroelectronics CEO Honored for Sustainable Practices

STMicroelectronics’ (NYSE: STM) outgoing CEO, Pasquale Pistorio, has been honored with AnalogZONE’s (an online source for electronics design) Green Hero Lifetime Achievement Award for his exceptional dedication to building an environmentally neutral corporation.


The Company also received the “Product of the Year” award from AnalogZONE, for its latest satellite tuner IC. Selected from among the hundreds of products reviewed by the magazine in 2004, the single-chip STB6000 has been credited for dramatically reducing both the cost and complexity of satellite receivers.


AnalogZONE Pasquale Pistorio in recognition of his unswerving commitment to environmental protection throughout his career. The Green Hero Lifetime Achievement Award singles out Pistorio’s unparalleled practices in designing, manufacturing, and distributing the company’s products with the environment in mind.
