Published on: August 5, 2004

IRVINE, Calif.–(BUSINESS WIRE)–Aug. 5, 2004–KleenAir Systems Inc. (OTC BB:KAIR – News) announced today that they participated in the Recent Local Authority Waste Management Show in Torbay, England. Together with its strategic partner, Dinex Exhaust Co. Ltd., KleenAir was able to demonstrate its combination Particulate Filter (DPF) and NOx reduction (SCR) systems.
KleenAir's technology has been installed on a number of waste management vehicles in several London boroughs, where they have demonstrated their capability and durability over the last two years. Such vehicles typically are among the worst polluters in urban areas emitting large quantities of particulates and NOx.

"Reducing emissions from Refuse Collection Vehicles has been one of the most difficult and intractable problems for Air Quality Management officials. We believe that our emission reduction systems will make a significant contribution to the reduction of emissions from such vehicles with a consequent improvement in public health," stated Lionel Simons, President of KleenAir Systems, Inc

KleenAir recently announced another institutional financing for $2 million had been agreed with a second London, UK based investment company. The transaction exchanges $2 million of a quoted London Stock Exchange investment trust equity for an equal value of KleenAir stock. This helps improve the balance sheet and liquidity of the company.
