When my company imotrps something into China, we pay a 30% tariff, and that excludes the documentation requirements they impose that are effectively Chinese government-approved technology theft. We should up the tariff to 30%, or higher. Chinese solar panels would still be less expensive, because American workers make $17/hour on average versus $1 for a Chinese worker.
