Rona Fried is known for her wide-ranging, deep knowledge of sustainable business and environmental issues in general. She is president and founder of SustainableBusiness.com, and speaks and writes on topics related to sustainable business, green jobs and green investing..

Rona serves on several Advisory Boards: the WilderHill Clean Energy Index (ECO), the bellweather Index that tracks the clean energy sector; the WilderHill New Energy Global Innovation Index (NEX), which tracks the clean energy sector worldwide; Greensource Partners, a venture capital firm investing in sustainable early stage companies; and Alternative Construction Technologies, a green building products manufacturer.
Previous to her shift into the environmental arena, Dr. Fried directed an organizational effectiveness consulting practice for ten years. She received her Ph.D. in Social/Organizational Psychology from SUNY/Buffalo in 1982, and her B.A. in Psychology from University of Wisconsin/Madison in 1976.
