Auditing and assessment against international standards, frameworks and other requirements has a bad name. Most of the approaches currently used provide compliance focused reports, which provide little if any real evidence to assess future risks. Users of such services are increasingly challenging the providers to offer higher value, less intrusive solutions, that in themselves add to the sustainability of their own supply chains.
