Our mission is to make it easier and more rewarding to share rides, as a way to reduce traffic, and reduce fuel use and related emissions.
The energy intensity of transport can be improved three ways: better engines, better fuels, and more people per vehicle. At least 50% of peak hour vehicle travel converges in space and time with others making a sufficiently similar trip that it could be shared.
While we wait for better engines and better fuels to deliver (a decade at least) we could get more people per vehicle right now, if we could make it easier to find the person who is going our way.
Imagine if finding the person going your way didn't involve any pre-arrangement! That is the focus of our product development. The one thing we are NOT is an internet based ridematching system.
We are seeking investors (to invest up to $5 million) who understand the rewarding potential of an investment in this field. We will invest the funds in proof of concept demonstration projects. Upon proof of concept we will work with marketing partners to rapidly grow a market of participating cities around the world.
